Hey does anyone play zone stride analog on legend? If so are you having success? Ive always been a legend player but this year I’m garbage at the plate

I play Analog Stride Legend hitting with maxed out pitch speeds, I'm having great success but it took me about 70 hours of tweaking sliders and practice for it to play "realistic". Only just started my Franchise last week.

Yeah that's how I play, but only made the jump to legend last year. I'm getting iffy results. Power numbers are gonna be a little low till I really figure it out it seems, but still getting my fair share of hits. Lots of strikeouts though maybe need to start taking advantage of contact swing with 2 strikes for some guys

have you also noticed that the human hitting PCI on legend is way smaller than the CPU PCI when pitching on legend. Was it always this way?

Are you playing on simulation or arcade? I believe there are more swings and misses on good timed swings this year on simulation.

Try playing on arcade and see if that's closer to the gameplay you were expecting.

The PCI size has many factors that play into it's size. Are you sure it's not just based on your hitter or pitcher being crappier?

No for sure it’s not. A guy like DJ on the Yankees(me) is smaller than say Reese McGuire on the jays as an example.. even if I use contact swing

I use fisheye cause I want the wider view. It would be amazing if these games supported ultrawide 21:9, can't believe the PS5 doesn't. 16:9 is such an archaic way of playing games these days.

                    Re: Legend hitting

I use legend but zone buttons. No analog. You really need the power at 7 for the sliders and the wind turned off, the winds impact this year is way too impactful. I’ve been playing since mlb 13 multiple franchise seasons each year. You may be able to do 6 power with teams with power but anything below 7 on legend doesn’t allow guys with around 50 power to ever hit a home run. I know they shouldn’t hit a lot but it should be possible. Under 7 power they’re beyond weak.
