    Retirement Question

I've spent many hours building a custom roster, but have a big problem. Many of the players are retiring in frnachise mode after a few years mostly because their "ability". Everyone one of them has a 10 year deal so they are under contract. I have tried to make every drafted generic player 45 years old so they will be the ones retiring, but there's still too many of my own create players retiring so that in year 3 it's unplayable. Does anyone know of a possible fix or work around? Making their ratings better just before the offseason to prevent retiring and editing them back before the season is just too much work at this point.

    Re: Retirement Question

I'm not sure there is anything that can be done to prevent it, outside of possibly maximizing their ratings, but I don't know if that would be a guarantee fix.

Each year the game needs x amount of players to retire to help keep its balance in terms of a variety of players in the league in terms of age, ability, potential, etc...so that it doesn't have a max exodus in one of the years down the road.

Ya like I Said, I make every generic rookie 45 years old so they automatically retire, but it doesn't completely solve the issue

Yeah I'm not sure how to skew the roster to ensure that you don't lose players.

        Sorry man.
