Hope you all had a good holiday and enjoy the ones upcoming. I use directional hitting and until recently I’ve never influence the swing type. I typically play on all star or HOF. I recently started influencing the swing on every pitch. What a difference this has made. I’m not one for restarting franchisees but I did just that recently. Below are my stats with my marlins franchise after exactly 50 games with out and with influencing the swing direction.
Runs: 24th to 5th
Home runs hit: 20th to 3rd
Strikeouts received : 2nd to 17th
Runs per game: 4. 2 to 5.2
Double plays hit into: 1st to 15th
Record: 27-23 to 35-15
So there’s been some major differences as you can see. It’s been a much more pleasurable experience hitting for sure. I strike out ALOT more but that’s kind of welcomed. It’s just my experience with a small sample size. I always thought the risks out weighed the benefits but perhaps I’m wrong. I feel pretty foolish with using directional for so long without doing this.
