After game highlight reel in 20 vs. 21. What a shame.
I’m a late adopter of 21, so I’m just now seeing all of the differences between 20 and 21. Among those that are the most disappointing is the new highlight reel. It used to be this perfect little contextual summary of events that you could play after a game, but in 21 it’s just a short series of random flashes of action that provide no context at all—no information about the inning, the score, the result of the play, etc. I really don’t understand how something that was done so right can be gutted like this.

I had the same thoughts this weekend. I usually dive into each years game late because I wait for the patches to all be finished and I’m still working on previous years seasons. Been playing more of 21 lately and yes, they gutted the highlight reel.
Funny thing too is that I had stopped watching the highlight reel for a long time until recently, which I started to really enjoy watching it in 19 and 20. And then of course they nurf it in 21. Figures… -

I remember bringing this up on their feedback page way back when the game launched and I seem to remember (I cannot find the email response) them saying that it was a bug/error and that they weren't sure if they would be able to fix it this year due to the internal workings.
I personally expect it to return to "normal" for '22.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
