That's fair negotiation. We're at a point where both sides just don't want to agree.

I 1000% agree with everything you said. My fear is what you ended your post with. Both sides seem to be hunting for disagreement. However, one side has the resources to “freeze” out the other. This is about to get real ugly, and about settling a score I fear.

And I don’t know where you can possibly go from here. I think negotiations are going to be done for a while cause there isn’t anything left to talk about unless one side is willing to concede the draft or QO.

I was so hoping we would get a deal. That would set off the flurry of transactions and we can get a decent base roster in the game.

well the back pay will now be a issue and drag on till July like 2020.

I think we have to start really thinking no baseball is happening in 2022. I could not care less about another 60 game season again

The perspective is much needed, and I really appreciate that. I think we will go to our minor league affiliate in town for Father’s Day.

I wish they could just play the games with the minor leaguers so they count while the players sit back and have to watch that with no pay check then we still have baseball and games counting.

I don’t know why they couldn’t keep talking though the night. The players should have said okay let’s talk about option 1 and rework it. Which they did but the owners wouldn’t respond.

No future bargaining sessions are scheduled. When they do come back there will be worse issues to negotiate.

If I was Apple, I wouldn’t have made the deal until they had a CBA.

Baseball is really shooting them selves in the *** with these decisions.

Dragging out the CBA negotiations after losing 2/3 of a season 2 years ago.

Actually finding ways to make watching games more difficult/ expensive due to streaming deals.

I mean with the on the field talent and personality they currently have available they should be out promoting the game like never before. Build MLB’s popularity up with a new generation of fans and then capitalize down the road.

                Win for everyone.

                Ruder less ship.

Well we are losing another year of players in their prime. Trout, Ohtani, Tatis, and more. The players that baseball needs to bring excitement to the game.

Really? Lets say they make a deal in the next week and the season starts on April 12. You really wont go to a game in June because they cancelled 2 weeks of games?

Trout.. missed a lot of 2019 most of 2020 2021 and now 2022

one of the greatest ever is going to only play about 4 months of baseball over 3 years.. it is sad.

The players were lucky the owners gave them the opportunity to make up the 6 games. No way the owners will attempt to make up 12 games.

I am going say I won’t on here to you right now, and secretly buy tickets the moment the labor strife ends. I think I did the internet right, right?
