Ummmm, yea no... We'll have baseball before June.... Im guessing days before ST is to start, they'll rush together and a deal will happen.

I have said Feb. but I am starting to worry now that they are not even talking!

Madden used to come out Early August and for marketing reasons they made it late August. it's simply the reason it will now be a April release plus they would have to 'crunch it' and lose a month of work and release the game in March now.. that would be dangerous losing a month of development and be full of Bugs. April is the new normal sadly.

If Y2Y saves are back this is no issue for me.. if they are not well.. same issues as last year for me I wish they would just announce it now so that if it is 'yes' I will just stop playing 21 now and wait till April

Safe to assume April as the release, guys. It was delayed until April in 2021 and dev teams won't want a shortened window for production. Especially with mutiple consoles in play. Safe to assume an April release for the indefinite future.

You're most likely right..... **** that sucks!! Only major sports game that is released during the season and of course it's the sports game I play the most.

MLB 14 on PS4 released in May and then MLB '15 released in March the next year.

So its not out of the realm of possibility that the release date move up a few weeks into March with '22.

Like I said before the big difference here was the PS3 version came out in March... ALL versions last year came out in April

I am aware, was just stating that its not out of the realm of possibility for it be sooner.

But maybe it will be April and you can have that proud moment of calling it.

Nah nothing to be proud about when hundreds of others are saying the same thing. I do hope it will be march though.. I would much prefer that.

NFL is a week later this year so we might have to wait another extra week for news too. seems to usually be after the super bowl

You always popping in with the doomsday scenario. There was never any expectstion that they would have been close to a deal at this point. They agreed to take winter break and get back to it. Theres still not goinf to be a deal until very close to or spring training. Just because you didnt hear that they are close doesnt mean they are going to miss ganes

I always liked the March Spring Training release as I like to play Spring Training as it's happening in real life.

what I really like about having an early March release is the extra month of many eyeballs on the game finding bugs just a handful of developers don't have time to find. and then having said bugs patched by the end of the first week of April

They have the stage to themselves it's a bit of a dead period for both IRL sports and gaming wise. All the other sports games have been out for a while. The NBA and NHL are in the middle of their long seasons, and they don't have to compete with the NFL drawing attention away. At least thats my guess.

No need for passive aggression. Nobody wants it to ship in April. Just laying out the hand we're likely dealt.
