Franchise options of Simulation, Simulation "4"???

Hey, I had just noticed this today. If I go to start new franchise, I now am by default on "Simulation 4". I moved RS and there was casual, Simulation, etc.

If anyone has any ideas what this is, I'm curios. And even selecting it, the next screen is still set up for simulation.

It's simply a number the game assigns when you create a new profile from any of the templates. It keeps any of the previous profiles you've created from being overwritten. There's no difference from any other simulation profile other than the settings you choose within that profile.

If you're having an issue with which profile your game is defaulting to, go to Settings from the main menu, Settings from the next sub-menu, then L1/R1 through all of the profiles until you get to the one you want to use. Try to press Circle/B to go back and you'll be prompted to Apply Changes or use the selected profile as default. Setting it as default should give you the profile you want to use when you start a franchise without having to scroll through them. This makes that profile the default in all game modes.

If you're already in the franchise and don't want to start a new one, you can change your settings file association (basically the same thing you choose at the start of a franchise). Inside your franchise go to the same Settings menu as above, only this time go to the 3 dots at the far right and select "Preset Associations". That will let you choose a profile to set for each team that you have manual control of. That means that the profile you select here will be the first one that comes up for that team when you enter the pre-game team select screen.

That should cover everything. Sorry for it being a bit wordy, it's really not all that complicated and will save you from having to RS through the profiles every time you start a game.
