This is a random post but I thought I’d throw it out there. I have a PS4. I had been using a pretty old tv. This thing had to be over ten years old. I honestly thought the show looked pretty decent with the PS4 and the old tv. But nothing like the quality of what I see other guys using. I purchased a new tv yesterday. It’s nothing fancy by any means but it’s the nicest tv I’ve ever owned. The quality isn’t anything what I expected. I spent like two plus hours trying to get the best quality out of the show I could. I placed it on game mode, adjusted the HDR, placed it on super sampling mode and made sure everything was set for 1080p. I think lol? It’s just not what I was expecting. Pretty disappointed actually. So is it the PS4? Some settings I’m missing? The tv? Any advice I’d appreciate.

Re: TV Settings
I did turn the hdr off even though it says my ps4 is hdr compatible. It’s really dark. Even day games. I have the contrast and brightness all the way up on my tv. Is there a way to adjust this within the PlayStation?Comment

Re: TV Settings
Make sure your Eco Solution is all turned off.
Look under general on your Samsung TV.
* Ambient Light Detection
* minimum backlight
* Power Saving mode
* Motion lighting
* Auto power
I prefer contrast enhancer on high.
Your back light settings 40-50.
Color tone Warm 2.
Color Space Auto
* put in your model number and darko calibration settings into youtube.
I always use this guys stuff and hes good at what he does.
