Just cannot see me buying MLB 22

Not only is MLB doing their best to shoot their self in the foot with universal DH instead of raising the mound and the seams of a less dense baseball to put more balls in play, lessen SP injuries and pull down netting from 3/4ths of their stadiums

    but

now SDS is putting all their eggs in the EA online customized teams to be disingenuous in getting huge money from microtransactions that are essentially pay to win gambling. Cross platforms (except PC, what a shock ) is what that is

I wish OOTP would start making it graphics based, even if those graphics are MLB on PS2 type engines. It would be a dream come true

The majority of fans and players wanted universal DH. That’s actually one of the things MLB has done right.

I wonder why people assume that EVERYONE that likes baseball is against the universal DH.

I'm sure SDS is trying to make money, it is a business after all.

I don't want anyone to have to buy a game they don't want any more than I want to be forced to buy a soccer or hockey game. thankfully, that doesn't happen.

I just cannot see me not buying MLB 22

I just hold back a dollar and 50 cents a week and I know I'm good to go come release day. for my favorite sport, that's a bargain no matter how I slice it

I was back on hype train after last years game. Was really looking forward to this years, but the new trailer is almost insulting. Literally nothing new. Not even pullover jerseys. I think These dudes stretched themselves too thin putting it on these different consoles. That seems like their only priority.

Re: Just cannot see me buying MLB 22

I'm taking a wait and see approach. I really want to create a fictional league and relocate every team and have it be completely fictional....and do it in The Show so I can have the experience of playing the games.

So I could see myself buying the show and creating rebrands, new stadiums, etc. But I know roster content may not be great this year so we will see.

I'd do it in 21, but not having night games in created stadiums is just a deal breaker for me.

As a Pacific NW native, obviously I love Randy Johnson.

That is the only he only reason I would buy.. to play through whatever DD Program they roll out.

Happy to pay $20 for that. But no more.

Putting the game on multiple consoles wasn't their choice. So nothing they can do about that. I also don't believe having the game on other consoles handicaps development anywhere near to the degree a lot of people think it does for some reason.

And in general, there is no need for a personal thread to tell us you aren't buying the game. Plenty other threads for that.
