So glad I re-downloaded the tech test. Playing DD portion really given me a better perspective of the game.

Curt Schilling was the cover athlete. You could print out your stats. Good ole days.

I honestly skipped all those dumb RTTS videos that would pop up. I understand what they were trying to do but those videos didn't really make me feel like they were directed at me ya know? Just felt very generic. I didn't feel immersed I to the mode bc of them.

Re: MLB The Show 22 Technical Test Available Now

Anyone else think that infield dives (fielders diving for groundballs) is better? Seems more fluid and that they cover more ground, which feels more along the lines of "reality"?

Not sure how to really describe it, but it certainly feels different/better.

Haven't had enough outfield dive plays, or plays against the wall to see what, if any, changes have been made in that area.

I would describe the diving animations as more fluid with the player's movement leading up to the dive. I've had a few outfield diving plays and they feel similar, not forced like previous years.

Hit a homerun in Yankee Stadium with Gavin Lux to right field and pressed L2 for the replay.

It showed the homerun replay from the stands with the ball coming towards you. I've never seen this in any previous Show version. Very cool

Yes! I made a comment earlier about this as well. The infield dives are definitely improved

One thing I have noticed, is that EVERY time I hit a no doubt home run, I see the dumb home run cam. I'm hoping that it's just a tech test thing bc man do I hate that no doubt home run cam.

That sounds pretty cool. Hopefully they’ve added a lot more new camera angles/replays.

I've seen a few new ones.

Really makes the presentation premiere all the more intriguing.

Wouldn’t surprise me they now made it 100% for every no doubt HR to be honest.. it’s the direction they are taking this game and they don’t care to give us an option…
