        That was short.

But at least franchise got a mention.

Fairly quick and informative, and they addressed the performance concerns right away.

Looks like I'm good to preorder!

Gameplay seemed to be smoother in this feature premiere than it was in the tech test. Optimistic that they've made some tweaks since that build. Cutscenes (including the HR cam) definitely show choppiness, but that's to be expected.

It's no NBA2K, but 20 GB is a hefty chunk of the Switch's console memory.

Ah, so they did talk about it. I turned the stream on a bit late and didn't catch that part, but just heard it on the VoD. Good news.

They did also mention that the tech test for Switch was a two-week old build (which is why it was so rough with framerate and optimization), and that The Show 22 on Switch is a separate build from the other versions of The Show. With that said, this idea that was floating around about a Switch version holding back next gen can be put to rest.

Something important for those that utilize this aspect of the game, but any stubs/content purchased can only be used on the platform they were purchased on.

So if you buy stubs on the Nintendo Switch, those stubs can only be used on the Nintendo Switch and do not cross over to the Playstation or Xbox consoles.

Wonder how to link account. If I can play my franchise games on ps4 and/or Switch that is worth the purchase. I can still play a game if the kids want to watch Paw Patrol lol

You just do it on SDS' site here. You'll be able to do what you want, you just need to get the Switch version first so you can complete linking the accounts.

I might be the minority or sounding sour, but I am underwelmed. Pro Spirits 2021 on the Switch has 60 fps (also in cutscenes and replays) and looks good. How come this is not even a locked 30fps? Also, the footage shown was docked, it said so in the small print on the bottom of the screen. That doesn't bode well for handheld mode. And as I understood, the tech test build wasn't a two week old version, but a version from two weeks ago. So my guess is this is more or less what we will get come retail version: full of modes, but lacking in the graphics and frame rate department. Imho not worthy of our 60 bucks/ euro's. They put in minimum effort. Perhaps it would have been better to get Panic Button or Sabre involved, as they have a good track record porting to Switch.

I do hope ppl who will buy will enjoy it!

I'm wondering if they shouldn't have added the Switch stream to another stream. Yesterday's stream was extremely drawn out in my opinion. I guess the best part was confirmation (not that I ever believed it was still there) that Franchise mode still exist. Of course I don't own or plan to own a Switch but it does feel like that was a bit longer than needed.

I like how the test demo played so I'm still getting the game but this is the most underwhelmed I've been about the Show in a long time. I'm sure part of that is also due to current lockout. But part of it is their "big announcements" this year haven't been things that pump me up. I'm happy for Switch owners to get their baseball fix though. I just don't think they needed a full stream.

Man I’m so bummed they went a long with (in my opinion) the ugliest and worst menu structure to navigate through.

The tile menu structure I could blindly navigate through after a few weeks but after playing The Show 21 year round I still make mistakes.

Games actually typically run better in handheld mode because it doesn't need to achieve 1080p and can use the extra horsepower toward performance.
