For the %1 of us that play franchise mode, anyone seeing cpu fielding errors

I’ve played almost two full seasons in franchise mode in 21. The errors by the computer when fielding are almost nonexistent. I do see some throwing errors. But the majority of real life errors and usually fielding errors. Especially by the 3rd baseman and shortstop. I have the slider at 10. Just seeing so few. In older generations of the show i would have to do a -20 to 3rd baseman and shortstops fielding rating in order to see errors as well as get a more realistic team fielding percentage. The team percentages are always too high as well. What are you guys seeing in your franchise. Thanks.

Yeah I see what seems to be an okay amount of CPU errors, I have the error slider at default.

I play manage mode which is essentially cpu vs cpu. I see an accurate number of errors.

There are significant issues with gameplay but errors are not one of them.

Simming a season creates unrealistic team fielding percentages. Percentages are too high.

probably way more than 1% of us OS'ers that frequent the Show forum here are franchise guys, even if they aren't franchise only guys. and FWIW franchise mode definitely consumes 99% of my playing time.
but that 1% probably isn't that far off of what percentage play only (or mostly mainly) franchise, when taking into account everyone everywhere

on-topic, I turn the fielding and throwing errors sliders down 1 notch and I even then I don't have any lack of cpu errors IMO (or for my personal preference)
but also I haven't really compared my totals to IRL totals either so my experience could just be anecdotal

I see a proper amount of human and CPU errors in played games with the error sliders bumped up. It's the simulated games where the errors/fielding percentage is a bit too good. I think it's because they give the elite defensive players fielding stats in the 90s. I played around with reducing fielding attributes for a lot of players, especially the high end defenders, and it helped make sim errors more realistic. For example, they had the cover boy with waaay inflated defensive stats, when the fact is he's a below average defensive shortstop that should be moved to the outfield.

Yea I’ve had to adjust players too in the past. I would do -30 to 3rd base and -20 to ss and second. If not they never really make errors, even with the fielding slider maxed out. I was just hoping it would’ve been fixed by now. 3rd and short always have lower fielding percentages for obvious reasons. Year 2 of my franchise 53 games in there are 14 teams with at least a .988 team fielding percentage. 6 teams over .990 and two at .995. Real mlb last year had 3 teams topping out at .998
