I expect them to cover, at a minimum:

    1. The new commentary team, which will probably dive into a lot of different elements in terms of how it was implemented. I think there's far more to talk about than "we changed the guys talking".
    2. The "win percentage" indicator we all saw in the tech test.
    3. The Statcast integration - we saw the display in one of the vids, don't remember which one. Not sure if this is merely an overlay change or something more.

It's absolutely worth at least a half hour stream, if not longer.
Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.

I wasn't planning on buying the game this year, but now that I found out there is going to be a new commentary team, I'm definitely buying the game.

Matt and the old crew were good, but the same voices grow stale over time. That’s true in anything.

Who else is hoping for a complete overhaul with stadium atmospheres? I’m talking putting most of what you see on sounds of the show into the game out of the box. Reserve sounds of the show for music only. Instead of us having to do it, the game takes an excerpt of the song and plays it through the stadium speakers between innings, during warm-ups, etc. Songs such as “Sandstorm”, “The Boys are Back in Town”, “Centerfield”, etc are just 3 examples. Make the game even more fresh.

Yeah I believe they ended up combining presentation and commentary, and now M2O has it's own stream

They probably don't want to spend the money for the music rights for all the songs needed. Between inning, batter walk up, warm ups that's a lot of music they'd have to pay for.

Sounds of the Show was a perfect idea and work around even if needed a bit of fine tuning to the UI/UX.

This….they could really blow it out & incorporate all these rich sounds/sound effects/walk up songs…or heck, just give us a library of sounds (a deep list of songs might be too much on game space tho) and let us tweak the audio ambient atmosphere to our liking

There is a lot of truth to this, even if its not just walk up music, but atmosphere in general. MLB games really are full of noise in between batters, innings, after outs are made, etc. The games aren't just silent.

I’m talking stadium chants like Tomahawk Chop and sounds of subways, sirens, ships, jets, and a huge array of organ sounds not in the game already.

We would select music ourselves, and a tool would put it into the game where it would have the sound of being played from the stadium speakers at the appropriate time. I don’t see how SDS would have legal costs with this since we would be picking our own music and storing it on a USB drive.

I’m glad for a fresh start with commentary. I will admit that I’ll miss Matty V just because he’s been around since the beginning, but a change was desperately needed IMO. I have to say I won’t miss Plesac or Derosa at all. “Ambush tactics” and “Everybody knows this guys name, kids are buying his jerseys” got real old real quick. I do wonder if Heidi is still around, or if she’s gone as well. I do like the idea of a dugout reporter so I kind of hope she’s still around.
