After watching this past week Live stream Feature Premiere "Commentary and Presentation", I am getting my favorite game day one. This new commentary team, sounds and presentation is fantastic to see and hear. I was a fan of Chris Singleton during his playing days with CWS and Boog Sciambi days doing Braves games for a few years. I always love to hear them call games on ESPN radio. I look forward to what they are adding to the franchise which I play and never finish a season. I was out, not on the fence and now I am definitely in.

As disappointing as it is to some that Franchise feels forgotten and was omitted from the rundown this year, the presentation features are clearly geared towards the offline crowd and not the DD’ers. You’re not forgotten, offline players. -

I'm back into getting into the Show also too as well... in the hand-held version, that is. I quit playing on my Vita some number of years ago, though I did play Show 13 and 14on the Vita up until around 2016 or 17

I’m still on the fence. I like a lot of the improvements, but if RTTS is tied to DD in any way, requires servers, and uses “loadouts” I’m sticking with 20.Comment

The only thing that has me on the fence is what is going to be next gen exclusive and what isn't. I'm not much on the stadium creator so if that's the only real thing left out again then I'll get 22. I don't see myself buying a next gen console as I'm primarily a PC player so it'll have to be the PS4Pro version for me.Comment

It will be on GamePass, so I'll have it when I want to play it. Hopefully there is enough polish to franchise mode this time to keep me around unlike last year.

Not being overdramatic at all, I meant it quite "matter-of-factly" as I'm pretty sure I have seen threads like this shut down in the past (as TOS violations). That was the angle I was coming from....that's all. Mods apparently have allowed it (which is their purview) so it's water under the bridge at this point.
But, in general, if a person starting a thread title has the words "I", "My" or "Me" in it; one should consider a) if there is value in posting it and b) if they feel there is value, they should try re-orienting the topic to something more general to better invite community participation.
This thread easily could have been built around a premise of "Have recent SDS announcements changed your buy/no buy decision for MLB The Show 22?". A title like that involves the entire community vs "I'm getting the game" (which is just about the poster).Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment
