Are managers/coaches editable? do they have any influence or still the -1 fielding +2 control type of influence?

Is playoff eligibility correct or still need to be on the roster as clock turns to Sept 1?

I'm assuming even with 30 team control, the user can't veto trades between CPU managed teams like in 2014-2015 timeframe?

Sorry I've been away from the new iterations for quite some time.

Yeah, thats my point. The name Indians is still in the game so the name should be able to be used and said for a created team.

Good point . Also if you're a person that doesn't like that word in the game ignore it and allow people who create rosters from the past to enjoy all the names announced like they would be in the 50s or 60s. A while back I was requesting helmets with no flaps and somebody said that it's dangerous not to have an ear flap. This game looks real good but it's not real it's fantasy and we should all have the right to have our own fantasy.Called Freedom of Choice

Are you sure about that? Not putting in a team's name could be against the licencing agreement with Minor League Baseball.

while I don't know firsthand I'd still think Sony would have taken protection of itself in some form of clause saying they wouldn't have to use an offensive name, especially at the rate milb teams are changing names, some milb team could choose to rebrand as something risque for the publicity. and what milb & mlb deem acceptable might not sit as well as w/Sony
I wonder if a team rebranded to something like NutBalls, would that make it into the Show?

I'd imagine the Major League teams probably have some sort of veto action against something like that when it comes to affiliated teams.

so the Orioles picked up free agent pitcher Jordan Lyles from Texas in the off-season but he doesn't have a player picture card. I can understand why there might not be one with him in a Baltimore uni, but you'd expect him to still be shown in a Ranger uni player card.
I'm going to look but I don't believe he had one last year in Show 21

access the universal dh rule in franchise xbox series c? all I see is on off or auto no

ON = Universal

OFF = Neither league uses it

AUTO = Traditional (NL no DH / AL has DH)

thanks Ive put it on on but it wont let me switch out the pitcher when dong batting lineups

There will still be 4 lineups on the lineup screen. You can't remove the pitcher from the no DH lineups, but those will never be used if you have DH set to "on".

Why does the monster in Fenway look like it’s riddled with bullet holes…looks fine on ps5 but awful on ps4…I know the monster has dents from all the balls but it looks ridiculous on ps4 version

Apologies if this has been answered, as I can't search the thread – I get the "you do not have permission to access this page." message.

When playing on PS5, how do we adjust video settings? The Audio/Video menu only shows audio options.
