MLB The Show '22 Little Things

Any new defensive cams? I know you said medium has been lowered a bit. I personally switch between broadcast and dynamic. I like dynamic but I feel like it was a little zoomed out too far especially when the ball was in the outfield. Just curious if you noticed other cams have been added or if the existing have been tweaked at all?

Thanks for answering these questions, man!

Ps sorry, I thought I was posting this in the Q&A thread.

      No problem.

No new defensive cameras. I don't know if others have been tweaked because I'm not sure what they looked like previously, but its all the same.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

More player emotion/reactions to play on the field is a nice touch.

Had Edmundo Sosa pound his chest after getting an RBI double.

Is the medium camera different then it is in the tech demo for 22?

I ask because to me the medium camera looks the same as it does in 20.

I hope it was not changed too much because the medium camera was perfect the way it was. And is my go to fielding camera!

I am am kind of nervous now lol

Also any info for those new stadium cameras they talked about in the feature premiers. Are they just for presentation elements or can they be used for CPU vs CPU games?

Before a spring training game, it showed a lady throwing out the first pitch

                  Anyways.......

It's like they added microphones to the bases. You can hear the pop of the glove at first clearly and when players dive back and dust off, you can hear them brushing their jerseys.

                  Nice touch

I liked that. I had some discussion with a dev (private DM) last year where I expressed my vision on batter’s reaction when striked out. Too many little league like reactions and I pointed out maybe more Pro’s reactions would be welcomed. He was really positive and pro-active and looking in that direction as well.

So my question, did you see as well more professional behaviors when batters are strikes out ? Less ‘I want to throw my bat in the dugout’ and more ‘ok dude, you got me’ ?

ÉDIT: oops…just realized i posted it in the little things thread instead of Q&A

I had a game earlier where I locked up Juan Soto on a changeup and he took the bat and lightly tapped his helmet with it, "like you gotta swing or be smarter", something along those lines.

Saw a Google Statcast for a runner beating out an infield hit.

Showed home to first in time

                        So damn cool!

As someone who's broken out the stopwatch at times to test things like this (with relation to sliders) I love hearing this.

That's usually the first thing I do when creating my slider set lol.
