Its a better game on the field than '21, and its leaps and bounds better in the commentary and presentation aspect.

The different sound of the pitch hitting the catchers mit between fastballs and offspeed stuff.

EDIT: The new mit pop sounds in general. Not just with the catcher.

More player emotion/reactions to play on the field is a nice touch.

Had Edmundo Sosa pound his chest after getting an RBI double.

CB....dang it man!!!! I was sitting this one out, and there you have went, and made me jones for it and will be playing The Show 22 hopefully this weekend!!!

Playing against the White Sox their shortstop made a behind the back flip to turn two. It was a beauty to see. Boog got all excited.

Big hitter up, Boog comments on his power, first pitch pops out half up 1st baseline.

Singy says..."ball's just not carrying to first base tonight."

Boog..responds "you just had to go there didn't you" as he is chuckling.

Love the commentary in this game. They were talking about a story one of them had while in New York, can’t remember the specifics. But it flowed just like a natural convo during a broadcast, was over several pitches and they would break during the at bats and call the play. Probably one of the most fluid conversations I’ve ever heard in a sports game.
