How do you start with the free agent signings? No matter if I use default or current, freeman Correa etc on in FA. But yet they are on their respective teams when I check in main menu

    *edit*

      Arizona Diamondbacks Spring Training

Diamondbacks drop first game of spring training

Madison Bumgamer got shelled in Arizona's first spring training game of 2022. Madison pitched four innings while giving up nine runs and twelve hits. The Arizona relievers closed the door afterwards as Colorado ended the day with a 9-4 victory. Former Houston prospect Seth Beer had two hits to include a homer for the Diamondbacks in the loss. The second game of spring training will see the Diamondbacks face off against the Milwaukee Brewers.

You will have the updated rosters. I would recommend saving them.
Does this work for a franchise I’ve already started or would I have to make all trades manually now I’ve started?

You would have to do it manually. You cant upload another roster once you start your franchise.

Cardinals place Harrison Bader on 10 Day IL

The Cardinals have placed CF Harrison Bader on the 10 day IL due to a knee sprain. Bader was injured running around 2nd base in Sunday afternoon's game with the Pirates. He is expected to be back in 2 weeks.

Justin Toerner was recalled from Memphis to fulfill the vacant roster spot.

Cardinals and Pirates split 4 game series

The Cardinals (3-6) split their 4 game series with the Pirates, the first series at Busch stadium this season. The Cardinals lost the opener on Thursday, won Saturday, lost Sunday, and then won the odd Monday finale.

The Cardinals lost Thursday when Roberto Perez hit a go ahead homerun in the top of the 9th off of Alex Reyes, the second time this year that Alex Reyes has lost a game due to giving up the go ahead homerun. On Saturday, the Cardinals wasted a terrific outing from Wainwright, but were able to win it in the 10th when Nolan Arenado walked it off with a single to right with the bases loaded and two outs. Steven Matz for the 2nd straight start, and actually all spring, was knocked around as he lasted til the 5th giving up 6 runs on 9 hits. On Monday, the Cardinals got another terrific outing from a starter, this time Miles Mikolas, who pitched a complete game shutout as the Cardinals got the 3-0 win.

The Cardinals will now welcome the Royals to town for a brief 2 game series before they head to Milwaukee for a game weekend series as they embark on a 10 game, 11 day, road trip with stops in Milwaukee, Miami, and Cincinnati.

A Trip Around the Bases of the League

1st) George Springer hit his 200th career homerun

2nd) Noah Syndergaard is 3-0 for the Angels this year

3rd) The Mariners have the top two RBI men in the American League (Haniger 12) (Lewis 10)

Home) Bryan Reynolds of the Pirates leads the majors in RBI's with 15 thus far.

Country, where do put your injury sliders?

It always seems like you’re able to get more injuries than I see from other people.

Finally started my Tigers franchise today! I was an exciting day as the young boys Torkelson and Greene made their major league debut and didn't disappoint. Both of them got their first major league hits with Greene also smashing his first major league home run! Tigers put on a hitting clinic in this one as the excitement of opening day must've put some thunder in their bats. After not hitting any home runs during spring training, they saved them all for Opening Day as they ripped 5 of them and knocked out Robbie Ray early. On the flip side, Eduardo Rodriguez silenced the Mariners and threw a complete game shutout. What a start for his new team, and it earned him Player of the Game. Next matchup we have Casey Mize pitching against Logan Gilbert. Let's see if he can follow in Rodriguez' footsteps.

Cardinals and Royals split 2 game series

The Cardinals (4-7) spit their mini two game series with the Royals in St.Louis.

The Royals won the series opener Tuesday night with a 4-3 victory. Dakota Hudson gave a good effort, but the bullpen and the bats just couldn't get the team into position to win. Nick Wittgren took the loss, his first of the season, as he gave up a run in the 7th that would be the difference maker. The silver lining in this game was Tyler O'Neill breaking his season slump going 2 for 4.

On Wednesday the Cardinals turned to ace Jack Flaherty, but he gave up 3 runs in the first two innings. He was lifted after 5 as his spot came up in the order with bases loaded and no outs, but he might as well had stayed as Corey Dickerson came off the bench to hit into a double play, although a run did score. The in the 8th the bats caught fire with Justin Toerner recording his first major league hit as a pinch hitter and then was driven home by Dylan Carlson's RBI double. 2 batters later, and a 4-2 game, with 2 on and 1 out, Nolan Arenado would launch a 3 run homerun that would put the Cards up 5-4. Genesis Cabrera would close out the game with a 1-2-3 ninth. Kodi Whitley earned his first even career win.

The Cardinals will now travel to Milwaukee for a 4 game series with the Brewers. The Brewers will be without Christian Yelich who is on the IL with an ankle injury.

A Trip Around the Bases of the League

1st) Dallas Keuchel recorded his 100th career victory

2nd) Blue Jays SP Kevin Gausman has 2 complete game shutouts in 3 starts this season

3rd) Brewers have signed C Wilson Ramos to a one year $1.9M deal

Home) Red Sox and Dodgers have each won 5 straight games to lead their respective divisions

Well, game 2 to start the year was a doozy! Casey Mize got the start and gave up back to back home runs in the 1st inning to Winker and Haniger. He settled down after that and started hitting his spots much better. Unfortunately, in the 4th inning he had to leave the game due to a strained oblique but he is day to day. For the Mariners, Logan Gilbert had everything going for him today and mixed up his pitches well and kept the Tigers hitters off balance till the 7th inning when Spencer Torkelson ripped his first major league homer to make it a 2-1 game. In the 9th inning, the Tigers rallied and scored 3 runs off their closer to make it a 4-2 game. Andrew Chafin came in to close it out for the Tigers and promptly gave up a solo home run to begin the inning. After a strikeout and base hit later, he got Haniger to ground into a game ending double play to seal the win for the Tigers. They are now 2-0 to start the 2022 season.

Well last night was a rough one. Had a 3 game losing streak bringing the Cardinals record to 3-3 on the season. In the final game of the night Jack Flaherty pitched 7 really strong innings striking out 9 batters and only allowing 2 runs. Unfortunately the offense wasn't enough to get him the win and we went into extra innings where a 2 run shot was given up in the 13th inning that essentially ended the game for the home Birds.

Starting the stream up now to continue the 4 game set versus the Pirates. Thanks for everyone that comes by and hangs out.

Tigers (7-0), Sweep A's in 3, Finish Road Trip Undefeated.

MoTown is buzzing these days after the Tigers start off the best they have in years. Contrary to the pretty much dominant performances turned in against the Mariners, it took 33 innings over the course of 3 games to get it done, with the first two both going into extras, with the Tigers prevailing in all three. Javy Baez now sits second in the AL in homers with 5, and Miggy now sits just 2 knocks away from the coveted 3000, which he now will achieve at home(hopefully) as they take on the CWS and Red Sox over the next 6 games at Comerica. Both teams sit at 3 wins on the early season, with the White Sox 3-3, Red Sox at 3-4, so it will be interesting to see how Detroit handles this early season up in competition as the first two teams they played have a combined record of 2-12.

(Side note I have never hit like this before or pitched this well on Legend so I am waiting for the wheels to come flying off hahaha.)
