I have been seeing 4/1 release date around here but every ad I’ve seen is 4/5. Did the release date get pushed up?

4/1 is the 'early access' release date. The MVP and Digital Deluxe editions give you early access to the game

4/1 if you preorder the MVP or Digital Deluxe version. 4/5 if you preorder the standard edition. Hope that help.

Early access is 4/1 (technically 3/31 at 11 pm for me). Standard release is 4/5.

Early access is a perk of the MVP and Digital Deluxe editions as well as XBOX Game Pass (I think, don't quote me on that last one, I don't have XBOX)

Game Pass doesn’t have early access unless you buy the ridiculously priced add on bundle for $50.

I preordered the standard edition and started the download. Without paying another $84 is there a way to upgrade to MVP for early access?? I'm usually working long hours this time of year but winter is still sticking around so I'm actually free this weekend.

Contact Sony/Microsoft and explain to them you have purchased the standard edition, but want to upgrade. They'll likely work with you.

Try just telling them you want to cancel a pre-order and have the money refunded. They should without issue since the game hasn't released/unlocked.

Then when that's done, download the MVP version.
