Max Stassi hit a deep drive off Rich Hill but Jarren Duran would race back to the wall in CF and reach up to make the catch

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Whipped up another little highlight package from the goings ons in my chise:

        Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

Not sure if this is an actual Web Gem, but it was a sweet catch that I've never experienced. J.D. Martinez has a fly ball pop out of his glove, but he sticks with it to make the catch for the out.

haha was coming to post the same although its my second time seeing it but this time I was on the wrong end of it...from the batters box I thought it was gonna bounce off him and go over the fence for a game tieing homer...sadly not

Tim Anderson made these plays against me the other day, on consecutive plays, nonetheless...

That was after we had own flash of Defensive brilliance, in the top of the inning... although that was maybe a questionable send with a slow runner, with no outs. That RF corner is deep though.

                      <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Tv-A2ha7tYI" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the animations on defense. From the positioning when fielding off of walls, to the way the cut-off man gets themselves in position to make the relay throw, to even the umpires get into position to view the close plays.

Heck of a play by Martinez to stick with it after just missing a diving catch.

This was literally the first pitch of the game and ended up being the only hit Sale gave up the entire game. Sale got the next 26 batters out, striking out 17, en route to a complete game shutout. And no, this was not a typical game for me and my Sox franchise. It was just one of those special days for Sale.

This was the closest I've ever come to a no-no or a perfect game. A one-hitter with nobody reaching base safely! Ugh! So close! I'm just happy it was literally the first pitch of the game so I wasn't sweating it the entire game. I don't know what I would have done if it was in the bottom of the 9th with two outs!

Bregman is my white whale! I swear, if he isn't hitting bombs off of me he's robbing me of extra bases with his stellar play at the hot corner.

A little hyperbole here I know, but this is probably the greatest catch I've seen in any baseball video game. Luplow, on a flat out sprint going away from home plate, does a full on dive and makes a spectacular over-the-shoulder catch. I literally dropped my controller when I saw it.
