Thank you!! So psyched to hear it is solid handheld.

Waiting for the game to finish installing but they do let you play Braves vs Astros. Looks awful docked but looks ok and is fun in handheld, which is what I bought it for. In my game room I have the PS5 version.
Would the lady who left her nine kids at Wrigley Field please pick them up immediately? They are beating the Cubs 4-0 in the 7th inning!

It seriously looks like a PS1 game when docked! Here's a comparison with Triple Play 2000:

Does it look like the PS5? No, but that’s a bit of a stretch.

Here it is compared with 12 on the Vita. The lighting and colors are a bit better but it actually looks a little less pixelated on Vita. And runs smoother.

As much as I'm enjoying the PS5 version, I think they were a little too ambitious bringing this to the Switch. Sorry it messed up the orientation of the photo.

Re: MLB the Show22 Switch talk

I have the show on xbox series x and just purchased it for the switch. I have linked both accounts, but I am trying to continue my franchise that I have on the series x , on my switch. To do so it is asking me to upload my franchise from the series x to the cloud. I, for the life of me can not see how to do that on my Xbox.

              Please help!

In the franchise menu, go up to the top right corner (I think it's a gear) and you'll see an option to upload to the cloud. Do that and you should then be able to access the file on the Switch.

Anyone have any issue getting it to download? When I left the house tonight for work I was at 96 hours left to go.

                      Hey all,

So I'm excited to try out the cross-platform progression. I have set-up my Show account with my XBox one. However, it's not giving me a way to add the Switch except, perhaps, using a link code. When I get home today to my Switch, where/how do I find that code? I'm sure it is easy and I'm dumb but I just want to make sure I do it right. Thanks in advance!

I'm having the same problem. Hopefully, someone can figure this out.

EDIT: check the following. I'll have to wait until I get home later.

I should've posted last night but thank you so much, this worked for me. I made a mistake (I guess) by selecting my X-Box as the one I want to pick up the progression from which meant that none of the rewards from my Switch's MVP edition showed up anymore. So I unlinked, went back on to the Switch, everything was there again and I went back and re-linked, this time choosing the Switch as the progression to keep.

The only thing that is weird, although maybe it is because it is run by two different company's stores, is that the wallet total doesn't follow on both consoles (I have 30,366 on the Switch and 5,366 on the XBox). Honestly, I'm a dork and want to open my packs on the big screen with the XBox so I can really enjoy IF I hit a Chase Pack or something cool (which I did once, was so excited thinking it was Tatis but it was Machado who I also like). I'll fiddle with this though.

Otherwise, the gameplay in handheld is terrific! I'm really enjoying being able to play the Switch while something else runs on the tv. This is the first game though that made me realize I need to look into some better side controllers for the Switch. They feel a bit flimsy as I play a sports game. Thinking ahead, if something like Madden or NHL ever come to the Switch, these controllers will take some major abuse. So I"ll spend today looking for better handheld options.

Was thinking of grabbing this but I have a question. I have a franchise started on ps5 with a custom team and custom stadium. If I want to continue on switch how does it handle the custom stadium I assigned to my team? Does it default back to the stadium of the team I overwrote with my custom team?

Considering buying a switch lite to pair with my ps5 version. I am wondering if the digital switch version needs an internet connection in order to play. If so I'll but the hard copy.

I only play franchise so I'm hoping after loading the cloud save onto the switch that I will be able to play at that point without an intrernet connection
