Anyone else have the game freeze on them since this new patch dropped? I've had two and none before the patch. It appears they broke something and now I can't even finish a game without it freezing. Seems like they broke something with this patch.

Yeah.....it happened to me too today.

Pop fly foul caught by Rizzo and it froze. Hard freeze. In the 8th inning.

Also post patch the very first AB of my first game post patch. DJ checked swing strike three on a ball in the dirt....catcher picked it up and just stood there and never threw to first.

Never saw that pre patch.

Going to file a bug report (once we can) on the freezing as well as that Catcher bug on a dropped third strike and no throw to first.

Going to reinstall the game as well and try that first.

Things happen. But SDS has a great record of fixing instability bugs that inadvertently can be introduced with Patches.

It is par for course as we all know.

I didn’t turn my game on yet. I want to hold off. So do I turn off the Internet? I don’t want to download it when I go play. I hope I don’t have auto download on.

So I turned internet off and they are in my notifications. It popped up during the game saying it can’t install.

I’m sure it will be fixed. But it is frustrating that all of the updates seem to mess up something that wasn’t messed up before.

Glad to see the new or "bugged" medium defensive camera remained unchanged. if there is a "fix" in the works, hopefully it will be to add the previous version of the medium camera while also giving the option to use this new version.

I like the old medium camera the best and am very happy it will be returning however 2 medium camera options is a good idea so everyone can be happy 😃

What would the new one be called medium low?

That would work. I hope they don't mess this up. I really enjoy the new medium. I'd been been clamoring for a lower camera with next gen. It's really immersive IMO.

So far I've not had a hard freeze since I rebooted the PS5. I did not uninstall. Hopefully that's a fix but I'll report again if it happens. I did go ahead and report it as well since it did happen twice before the reboot.

I went ahead and installed the patch. Hard rebooted my PS5 and had no issues last night.

Sorry for the naive question, as I am not that technically saavy. What exactly is a hard reboot and how would I go about doing one?

So what does everyone think the chances we get another patch at the official release tomorrow? I know it was around 2 weeks before we got the third patch after last year. But with the mess that uniforms and equipment is in, you’d think they’d want that fixed on release. If they intend to fix it.

Completely turn off console. Shut down. Do not put in rest mode.
