You know, you just can’t analyze everything. Reading the boards I see a lot of unhappiness with this game. From one batter to the next, one game to the next, too many this, to few that, adjust this, change that…..I don’t know how some of these people even bother to play the game.

100% agree! You'll never find the happiness in the game if you try to analyze it down to the minute detail or stat. As long as it plays well and follows baseball standards, I am happy. IDK how some of these guys think they will play and mirror RL mlb. Its funny.

I have my limits in how much I will tweak to try to mirror MLB stats. It just takes months and months of analysis, testing, etc. Wears you out

I do, however, find it interesting to read what folks are doing to get as close to realism as possible. This will vary from user to user based on perception and playing ability, but lots of what is found does help slider makers.

It's just interesting to read and I can see how some get real satisfaction out of trying to tweak things to mirror real life. It happens here, in Madden, NHL, 2K, etc. I enjoy seeing their input and trying different things.

Many of these guys prefer doing this than actually playing franchise. To each their own.

After Sweeping 3 from Pittsburgh, went into Chicago and got the loss. Quackenbush and Brown didn’t farewell in relief in the 6th. Three errors didn’t help. Now 3-1 on the season.

One thing I noticed is some pitchers now do the slide step with a running at first base. I always acquire a base stealer or two and I have a good idea of what counts the cpu pitches out on and what count they never pitch out on. Now I guess I need to figure out what pitches they do the slide step on.

I had api turned off. I have no idea what it does but I turned it on and have had higher scoring games. Perhaps it impacts manage mode in some way.

Currently 1/2 game out of first base in the NL central with my Pirates relocated franchise the Midwest Farmers. One thing I noticed was my Farmers text on the front of my uniform has been downloaded 70 times. It's good to see others are using that in their franchise. I also built a windmill logo that I put on my ballcap and jacket and use for my franchise logo.

It looks like the patch fixed the mound visit menu. Now it's above the score bug instead of behind it.

Holy Crap guys, I'm 5-27. Yes 5-27 with the Texas Rangers. i thought it might be a slider problem, but I will Play 1 Game the simulate 3 by going in to the game and simulate to the end before first batter gets up. I honestly in 15 years of playing this mode since 2006 thought a team could not be this bad. None of my pitchers are able to throw 80 pitched unless its Jon Gray. I don't know what to do. Just stopped a 14 game losing streak, I'm using sliders from Rumorman, but they are identical for me and the Ai, so it shouldn't be a slider thing. Plus it happens in the Sim Games also

Could be the simming, could be the slider set. Hard to tell. I have everything default except (Im testing) Starter Stamina 6, Solid Hits 4, Foul Freq 4, Wind 4, Play/Sim Injury 10/6. Only have 4 games in on this test. No conclusion yet.
