I just don’t understand the praise for the sound, I must be crazy cause it feels like the bat and give sounds took a step back

I think the bat sounds are similar, but that's still not bad. But the glove sounds are so much better. When you're pitching, you get a different glove sound from the catcher catching it depending on whether or not it's a fastball or offspeed pitch. And to me it sounds just like offspeed pitches hitting the catchers glove as it does in real life.

For me, it creates even more immersion into the game. I think this is the best MLB The Show ever. I know that's a bold statement, and many may disagree, but for me, it is.

I love the glove sounds too! Makes it feel new and fresh, also with the commentary. Lighting also sems different, all for the batter (lol)

What I still do not understand is the removal of Season Mode  since a couple of years. I like to play 14 game, 29 game seasons with 3 innings. To not have this option is, imho, ridiculous.

The texture of the grass in the created stadiums is horrible, nothing to do with the texture that is in the grass in the MLB stadiums

They Need To Stop Making It For PS4 and Xbox One. Then It Will Be A True Next Gen Game Instead Of Dumming It Down.

Is everyone just going to ignore the amazing amount of equipment they just left out of the game?

RTTS not even  a mention. That’s crazy. SD just don’t care about that mode at all

For a series that was first released 16 years ago, I can't believe we are talking about building blocks and growing pains.

They are actually doing the opposite. Removing items and ignoring much of what their fans want. Crazy strategy for sure.

It’s called the lack of competition strategy IMO, if one of the major developers threw their hat in the MLB mix it’s a different story. And yes I know 2k wasn’t great but times have changed. Would love to see EA or 2K try again

Even if those companies are going to give it another try it would take them years to even come close to the pitcher-batter cat and mouse game SDS has tuned to perfection if you ask me.

RBI Baseball, lol. At this point “competition” means nothing. I don’t think some people realize what we have here.

I think if EA took the logic from MVP and upped the graphics to today's quality they would have a serious competitor.
