Definitely playing like the Blue Jays
Opening game versus the Orioles, going into the 8th with a 2-0 lead. Give up a double. Outfielder fielding error giving up another double. 2–1. Then giving up an in the park home run on an outfielder error to Mateo. 3–1. Ultimately losing 4–1. Sigh. [emoji853]

New MLB Rule 122.35 section 2.1
“If, in the course of a late-inning lead, a team surrenders an inside-the-park homerun, the defense will incur a 1 run penalty, to be subtracted from the score, prior to the next half inning”.

And what does “playing like the Blue Jays” even mean? Lol… They’re a world series favourite.

Yes I know and I’m cheering for them I’m just talking about how they historically have fallen apart in big situations many many seasons

Re: Definitely playing like the Blue Jays
I’m not sure what you’re talking about… Of all teams you pick the Blue Jays “falling apart” when teams like the Orioles and Pirates are/were much worse historically..

Re: Definitely playing like the Blue Jays
Thought this was going to be a thread about the Jays hitting 10 homers but losing because Charlie Montoyo's bullpen management is not-so-great...
Instead it's a thread about having a 2-0 lead, losing it, and subsequently losing a full run in the process.2025 Expos Expansion:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1295163793Comment
