Not fielding cleanly.
I'm getting a lot of booted grounders where both infielders and outfielders are not fielding groundballs cleanly.....resulting in infield hits (that should be outs) or doubles (that should've been singles in the outfield). This is occurring with all fielding sliders at default and HOF pitching.

Re: Not fielding cleanly.
I'm using (for the pertinent ones I'm aware of):
Throwing interface buttons
Fielding decision assist
Throwing decision off
One button dive/jump off
auto INF jump ON
auto INF dive off
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.Comment

I've seen this with analog but not since I switched to buttons like you have it.

Re: Not fielding cleanly.
Maybe try auto fielding for a few games and just see if it happens as often? I haven't noticed any pattern like you are describing and that's with IF/OF errors at 8/6.
How hard hit are these groundballs? I'm not sure how practice mode works but you may be able to do some fielding practice on groundballs and see what you can figure out from there.

Like Irish said, put it on AUTO field with you doing the throwing and see how it feels. Without seeing what you’re doing it’s hard to tell.Comment

I don't want to play with auto- fielding, but will try it to see what happens in the animations and so forth.
I've been playing The Show for well over a decade, but maybe I'm doing something differently and need to work that out.
Thanks guys for all the input. Appreciate it.Comment
