New playoff format

I’m wondering if the new 12-team playoffs will be patched in. It was a relatively late change so I’ll forgive SDS for not having it in at launch.

It is not in and has not been mentioned whether or not it will be added. I sure hope it does get added at some point.

0% chance to be added this year. remember in 2012 we never seen the wild card game till 2013

Because past history tells us this. It’s nerve happened. Franchise. Have never happened from patches. It would probably break everyone’s current franchise and be made to restart it.

in 2020 they didn’t change the game Tom 60 games with 14 team playoffs either.

I’m holding off on starting mine until I get the opening day rosters and see if they add the rest of the equipment. I figure if they don’t patch in the playoff system in the next couple of patches we probably aren’t getting it. I’m holding out hope because they haven’t denied it will be put in yet.

They have fixed scheduling at least once in the past. Whether it happens or not this year is unknown, but to say no with any certainty. as you did, is disingenuous.

Most likely. Last time they patched something like this it did indeed require a restart of the franchise.

I’m fine with restarting. Let people that want to restart, restart. Let those that want to keep playing, keep playing. But I agree that it won’t get patched in.

It’s called be realistic, it’s like holding hope they pirates and Os will make the playoffs
