Got exactly that version and had no freezes at all playing 3 games a night. in every pitch and innings.

I have even waited for it with pop ups waiting to see if it happens to me. I am on the internet all the time too.

I am assuming everyone is using the same SSD drive?

Its happened on all 3 platforms. I'm just trying to get information from those that have seen it to pass along to SDS to provide as much information as possible to help them identify and fix the problem.

I'm glad you haven't experienced it and hope you don't. I had played nearly 50 games of the digital PS5 version and over 100 combined with it and the PS4 before I experienced it.

Uhm, cant remember the 1st time, but the last one I was definatly pitching

It seems to be triggered on defense, on pop ups towards the first base dugout.

Just happened to me during the 7th on Series X. Happened near 1st base in shallow right field.

Just happened to me for the first time. Xbox Series X. Pop up caught on foul territory past first base.

is it happened when on defense when using auto fielding?? or Manual?

Ok I use auto fielding too so there goes that theory that it only happens then.

does it happen during the final out of the innings??? it might be something to do with it triggering the animation just between the innings.

I use manual fielding. And no, it was not the final out of the inning. In my case, no ons was on, so the ball was being thrown around the infield, though it froze while thd camera was on/near the first baseman.
