Re: List of recreated stadiums available in the MLB22 vault

First off - a huge shoutout to those who've scoured the forums and the vault so they can compile this list for everyone else. I've made it a point to play more minor league games in my franchise, and I'm excited to see everyone's creations now that Ridin's roster is out.

That all being said, imagine my surprise today when I went looking for the stadium of the AAA Reno Aces only to see my username in the master spreadsheet under "Oakland Spring Training." It's an honor to be included, but as someone who values realism I need to put out a disclaimer. I used Hohokam Stadium, their real-life stadium, as a loose template for my creation, so "New Oakland Spring Training Facility" is more a fictional stadium than a recreation.

Still, a huge thank you to those who thought highly enough of my work to include it!

I recently revisited and completed "New Oakland Spring Training Facility" now that the memory bug has been fixed. I've posted pictures of the updated version over in the Stadium Creator Search Thread if anybody wants to check it out.

In the list on page 1 in the link under Minnesota. You have the wrong username listed for CHS Field. it TCL1f3 not TDL1f3.
Let go Twins, Vikes, Wild, Golden Gophers go.

Haha, had me fooled! I missed your post on the other thread saying it was fictional but stumbled across it in the vault. When I checked it against pics I really thought it was Hohokam. I changed the list back to grindgore138’s version though.

Just wanted to drop in and say that these spring training parks are lovely. Played 12 spring games to start my chise and I have a feeling when I get to next season I’ll play all of them. Good stuff.

I don’t actually care about any of this.

How would you play in a created stadium in ST?

I don’t know what you mean, you just tab over during the stadium-select screen like for any other game?

I touched up Sloan Park (Cubs Spring Training). I named it correctly (Sloan Park) and since stadium creator won't allow us to place fans on hills, I put some stands out there and dragged them down into the fill a bit so there would at least be fans on the fills. Not a perfect solution but it does help add to the feel a bit. Tackyscoop32 still the PSN name.

I really want a “standing fans” prop. The bleachers props are very versatile and I often use them as you do to fill in concourse/grass areas where people congregate. Unique viewing experience are a significant element of every ballpark these days; major, minor, and college.

I tried using some the spring training parks you have listed and they just felt lifeless. I shouldn’t criticize because I’m not spending any time making the parks but they just felt rushed

Considering how good some of the minor league parks look, I agree. However, Steinbrenner field is fantastic!

You’re not wrong. That author did every park himself and without a doubt they are rushed. Any park that has a different version I list instead because they almost always end up better when someone dedicates time to making only a few parks. Still, so many people are asking about spring training parks and it’s the best we’re got right now.

Many hands make light work. Experiment with the tool and learn it for yourself to help the community out creating better parks.

Just wanted to say thanks for putting a list of these in one location so we can find these easier.

Also big thanks to the hard working folks that have created these stadiums. BRAVO.

Finally got a chance to download some and try them out last night. I gotta say they are awesome! Really adds to the immersion when playing with your local minor league team or at stadiums you've been to and they are extremely close to the real deal.
