    Modifying injury setting?

I know you used to be able to do this but can not remember how

There is a way in the settings that allows you to take a healthy player and set his injury and how long he be out.

Anyone remember where that was located? what setting to change? All I can remember is it has to be done before you start the franchise

Under gameplay settings, set injuries to manual (you may need to hit R2 to get "advanced" settings I can't remember...), then on the injured list screen hit R1 and select them player you want to manually injure

and to add on to Boller, you don't have to do this beforehand your franchise starts. you can switch Injuries back and forth from Auto to Manual to completely Off (where no injuries occur) a million times plus infinity if you choose anytime during your franchise. so that if you want injuries to be Auto but later see an injury that doesn't quite sit ''right'' with you (whether it be length or type), you can make desired adjusts on the fly

Have you done this on 22 or you going by pervious games? Because I’m not seeing the option to manually change injuries this year. R1 does nothing.
          Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

It does still work for 22. I believe I saw someone else say they couldn't get it to work either though so maybe there is a glitch. Was fine when I tried it.

Wow ok are you guys on PS5? Yeah no option to R1 over on my end. I’m here because I just lost Miggy *and* Austin Meadows for the year I was hoping to avoid that fate haha.

Make sure injuries are set to manual then on the settings for the profile you are using.

There was a bug I had where hitting r1 did nothing I had to reset my settings and delete profile to fix it. Happened to someone else on here too

It is still in in 22. I set all injuries up in my franchise to match real life.

Do injuries still happen automatically on Manual or do you need to go back to Automatic?

Yep as far as I am aware, manual essentially turns in-game and simulated injuries off

I wish you could do like NBA 2K where sim injuries are on but you can manually assign injuries as well.

for all intents and purposes, you can have your injury cake, as well as eat it:
you can change from manual injury to auto as often as you want. you can start out your franchise with injury set to ON with auto, then if there's an injury you want to heal, bam, turn to manual and fix. or if you see something IRL you want to replicate, turn from auto to manual and injure to your hearts content

Keep in mind there is a injury limit too you can only have 5 players on the DL.

so use class A as injury slots as well if that happens
