MLB The Show 19 (PS4)-Automatic substitutions in my team is it possible?

I am a casual baseball game player who always played the great MVP Baseball 2005 on PS2 and PC.

I recently purchased MLB The Show 19 for PS4 and I have a question. Would it be possible to configure the game settings so that my team's substitutions are made automatically (mainly in the pitching rotation)?

I am learning to consult the different positions pitchers have (SP, RP, SU, CP...) in order to be able to manually make the substitutions. But I don't really know all the teams and their players in depth, for that reason I would like to be able to play with any team and have the rotations of the pitchers automatically.

I would like to know if this is possible in exhibition and franchise mode. I have consulted in the different configuration menus but I do not get automatic substitutions in my team(in the team controlled by the cpu yes)

I do not believe there is a way to do this other than cpu vs cpu

If you play a game with “player lock” turned on, you control only a single player and not the entire team. In this case the CPU controlled manager will make all your substitutions including removing your player. This is the only way I know how while still participating in the action.

Thank you very much for answering, it seems to me a good option but I understand that I can only control one player on my team. What I would like is to control my entire team and that the rotations are done automatically by the coach.
