Stadium Creator in ‘22, Stands Templates
So, did they remove Stands Templates in Show 22??? Cause it made Stadium creating a lot easier to have a Base to work with in MLB ‘21. I just can’t find it, it was in Stadium Properties in ‘21. They seriously need to bring this back if it was removed.PSN- JBoo2911Tags: None -
Re: Stadium Creator in ‘22, Stands Templates
I am hoping to find the answer to this as well.
I'm quite lost with the new control scheme, a lot of the things that were simple last year are now either hidden, difficult to find, or require a combination of inputs that aren't clear. I've been struggling enough with it that I just gave up. If someone has an answer for this it may encourage me to get back into the mode. -

Takes a while to get used to the new controls. L1 and R1 get used a lot. Best way is to just tinker with it for a bit to figure it out. I was frustrated at first but now I like it better than last year. One good thing in far more memory space allows you to put more in the ballpark.≡Comment

Re: Stadium Creator in ‘22, Stands Templates
I don’t think you guys are understanding the question…
In 21’, in the editor, under stadium properties, there were lots of various templates for stands. Not stadium templates, just a bunch of fully built out stand sections from multiple individual pieces.
Where is this in 22?
This was/is a key editing tool.Comment

The only option for template stands is in the template stadium menu. You can do a minor template canvas, a major template canvas, and blank template canvas. Hope this helps.Comment

So.... lol I know we've all discussed our frustrations over the bullpen location in SC, and how we cannot move it. I was wondering what the difficulty would be for SDS to patch this feature in. I mean realistically, this would have been an option during testing and game design right? I dunno, just a thought. This is really my only gripe with SC apart from no main wall props like signs etc. What do you all think?Comment

They should add another 3 or 4 more dugout options, sponsors and team logos on the walls, bigger letters to put the name of the stadium, the texture of the grass looks horrible, have 3 or 4 options to move the bullpen , the lights for the street do not work.Comment

Re: Stadium Creator in ‘22, Stands Templates
Having built stadiums from scratch my primary wish is that the pieces would move automatically together correctly. In putting a second level on the ground level seats the pieces never want to go together correctly. One has to do it by hand.
I would like to see alternative locations for the bullpen and also the possibility to alter the areas in foul territory.

I cannot agree with you more on both of these points. The snap feature is awful. When I use it on the second level it doesn't actually put it on the field level stands. Just floats above it and have to manually form it to the bottom. I have started getting use to the grouping feature but still have mixed feelings about it.
Like you I like building from scratch and I find myself building in fake bullpen spots. The one I'm working on now I built in spots in the corners for each team. Just in case they ever patch in the feature.Comment

Re: Stadium Creator in ‘22, Stands Templates
Two additional comments regarding the content:
First, we have spaceships and dinosaurs, but no railroad tracks. Some of the old historic parks were actually next to railroad yards such as Braves Field in Boston.
Second, there is missing from the seating set the old stands of the 1890s and early 1900s which were wooden and without concourses in back. It would be nice if this was added

Grouping however is great IMO and hard to believe I worked without it last year. It’s very helpful to group each deck once you make them so you can move them easier.Comment
