    Hitting tips

Any tips for where to look when hitting. I can’t seem to see the ball that well

Go to practice mode and just watch pitches without swinging and guess if it's a ball or strike. Do that for a while then start swinging to get your timing down. It might actually help if you increase the ball speed slider as for me personally the default speeds are so slow compared to real life that it messes up my brain trying to judge them. Then again, it might help if you slow the speeds down, everyone is different. Generally speaking though, I stare at the ball coming out of his hand while at the same time looking for a pitch in a certain portion of the strike zone.

I generally peer directly into the pitcher's soul while they pitch, but one thing that helps me when I'm hitting a rough patch is trying to identify the kind of pitch that he just threw before it crosses the plate. The easier that gets (pitch recognition) the less you'll have to think about hitting.

*as mentioned above, use batting practice all the time. I've taken 10's of thousands of ABs over the e years and I still use this all the time.

*HITTING CAM: While in BP, look through all the different presets, this makes as much of a difference as any sliders imo. Mess with the custom tools, too.
