Gamepass vs store bought?
So I was wondering, if you have the game pass version of MLB 22 and let game pass expire and decide to buy the game outright do you lose all your progress and stubs etc? Is it considered two separate games? I'm guessing that save files like sliders will be compatible or maybe they're not, but what about sponsorships or equipment that you bought from the market with stubs even though both versions are tied to the same account?Tags: None -
Re: Gamepass vs store bought?
Everything carries over. Game pass is only like a "license" that lets you start a digital game you don't "own".

I guess I'll take your word for it, but I remember hearing something a while back about how on Playstation there was a scenario that would end up treating it like two different games, not sure what it was though.Comment

Playstation doesn't have Gamepass so not sure I'd put a lot of validation into that opinionI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Gamepass vs store bought?
I understand that there is no gamepass on PS. I do specifically remember reading about something on these forums, I don't know what, that would treat the game as two different games on PS, this was probably two or three years ago though. I was just curious is all.Comment
