Yeah they added some equipment, but you still can't equip the wrist guards on your batter and any arm bands arent visible with an elbow pad (other than generic)

They used to be able to do this, like back in 20 or something. Wonder why it's changed...

Speaking of equipment, which is just a mess since launch, the secondary color for compression sleeves won’t change! It did last year! There’s still equipment missing, Lindor’s Franklin batting gloves, Jordan 5 Hurrache’s, Under Armor catcher equipment, 44 wrist guard, and Adidas Afterburner 8’s (most Adidas players are wearing this year) just off the top of my head. With each update things are getting better but there’s still things missing and still color options not changing correctly. Please SDS, make this right! Thank you!

VRR is off on my PlayStation 5, but the frame rate issues still are present. The blue jays home scoreboard is blurry and the contrast is high. Game is choppy. I will try turning off 120Hz and hopefully that is the fix. It’s a shame because it looked beautiful prior to the latest patch

So I'm going to assume that me hitting better is not bc of the patch but bc of the VRR update. But man, I am absolutely crushing the ball now. I am seeing more hit variety and I am hitting alot more balls to center field than I did before. I'm having alot of fun. I may have to go up another hitting level, even for my old eyes [emoji1787]

For some reason the patch before this one removed wall props which were adding ivory to the walls or making them chain link fence or chain link doors. They are back now with the latest patch.

I have The Show 22 on both PS4 and PS5. After this patch, hitting has become different for me. Every swing is way too early now. I’ve tried waiting and waiting, but every swing is way too early. This is on the PS5. It’s totally fine on the PS4. Can’t figure it out.

Unrelated to the patch, my game on the PS5 doesn’t look as good as it does on the PS4. On the PS5, it appears very dark and not very sharp at all. On the PS4, it appears bright and sharp.

If anyone has similar concerns, please post. Maybe some advice on the PS5? I would appreciate it.

Turn off VRR and automatic 120 HZ settings on your PS5 and those should resolve your issues

But also. My personal feeling is I don't think hdr looks as good when it comes to the show. That's probably depending on your monitor but I know for me the shows colors looked better on my 1080p non hdr TVvat my cabin then my 4k hdr one I use at home.

There are so many variables when it comes to HDR and video games. Number one would probably be your TV itself. Is it capable of getting bright enough for any meaningful HDR improvements. Also, there is really no HDR standard in gaming. Some games have HDR sliders, and some don't. The ones that don't are based on a set number of nits (brightness of your TV), and that can vary from game to game.

So basically, if you find that HDR looks too dark, or colors look washed out, it's probably due to one of those things. And you would be better off playing without it.

Thanks for the thoughts on the PS5. I’m kinda in the market for a new 4K tv. Any advice on things I should look for to get a good quality picture as well as good performance for a PS5?

I’m not a tech person so bear with me. I have the latest system update and I’m having the timing issues (pulse pitch-timing hit). My settings had 120 automatic. I go to see vrr and it says tv doesn’t support and I shut off 120. Why would the game play different with a vrr patch that I cannot even use? Two days ago it didn’t exist for me and 120 was auto and today vrr still isn’t an option, so I disable a setting that was used this and last year and it seems to play normal again (knocks on wood) I’m really confused.

I’m assuming it’s the new update, but for some reason when I play the game it will only play in HD, not 4K. I have to turn off the 120 Hz under the PlayStation settings to get the game to play in 4K now. When I booted the game up today I noticed something didn’t look right, the graphics did not pop and it wasn’t crisp like it was before. When I clicked display on my TV it said it was a 1920 x 1080 HD, which it should be in 4K HDR. It still says it’s an HDR but it’s only in HD, not 4K. It did not do this until this update. I tried different games and they were still in 4K so it Has to be an issue with the update on this game. Anyone else notice this problem?
