    Position Player on the Mound

Is there no longer a way to have a position player pitch in 22? I'm losing 11-1 and don't feel like running through my bullpen, but I can't find a way to do it.

yes the only way I think would be to surrender the DH role swap position player you want to pitch. then he becomes the pitcher with someone at DH and that would become the pitcher spot (the only way you can get that to work with Ohtani )

There is really no way to just to do it. you never could I thought anyway? it always had to be the NL way or lose the DH

I guess I've only ever done it in franchise mode with my Reds, so I never ended up having to try to do it with the DH rule in effect, so you may be right.

you can also swap your current pitcher to like say RF, have your RF pitch, and then sub-ou the pitcher in RF with another position player

of you could break the game and get all your pitchers ejected by throwing at players heads LOL then the game might force you to use position players
