    Issues since latest patch (PS5)

    A couple of things notably different following the latest patch. I’m running it past you guys to check if it’s just me (I doubt it is!).

    1. Responsiveness whilst pitching and batting from button input is not what it was.

    I pitch analog and the split second I go to move the stick up after pulling it down it’s pitching from there. I’m releasing way above the line now every time as a result.

    Same with batting, I’m a directional hitter and the button press seems far more sensitive post-patch. I’ve swung when it would’ve checked pre-patch and checked when it would’ve followed through with a swing before today too.

    2. I’m seeing sone pretty horrendous frame rate drops with the broadcast fielding cam on players/field only. Not present before todays patch which is a huge frustration.

      Turn off VRR from your system menu. That fixed it for me.


      (Also, there is a 120 Hz setting you can disable - which apparently also helps).

          Is this an option on Xbox or PS5? I’m also seeing some stuttering on balls put in play.

          I’m playing on Xbox series s if that makes any difference.

              PS5....no idea about Series S....

                  Also noticing this. My scoreboard in CF is blurry and very choppy game play. Was enjoying it so much before this. Hopefully they patch it back soon.

                      I played a game last night that was choppy when I was hitting balls in play. I played a game tonight and it was fine. So, maybe a rare glitch? I did turn off the 120hz option as my tv doesn't support.

                          Since the patch I see some frame stutters when the ball is in play from tome to time that never happened pre patch.

                              It is in the PS5 settings < Screen and Video <.Video Output < Enable 120 hz Output.
                              It was on automatic. I just switch to off. I don't know if it did anything or not.
