    Strike zone 2.

The best I can say is pick one and get used to it, if you are changing a lot it will mess you up and take longer to master.

I had been doing zoomed in wide but this year I went with MLB 15. Top of strike zone at pitchers cap, zoomed in to shoes of batter.

I'd been switching between mlb 16 and zoom. I've settled on 16 because I like the view better. I also tried 15 but I felt like i really struggled with pitches up.

Also I’ve started to like catcher high. To me it’s kind of a cross between fisheye and the show 15 views. Not as far away feeling as fish eye, and I can see more of the stadium than I can with show 15 cam

Show 15 is the one I use. Sometimes I think about going in and lowering the angle just a tad but I have found out of all the different cameras I’ve used over the years that show 15 gives me the best feel and view of the pitch.

This right here. There’s always going to be pros and cons to every camera. But if you keep switching you’ll never get used to one and your hitting will never improve.

Re: Im constantly changing the hitting view

@baconbits11 when you say top of strike zone at pitchers cap, whose strike zone do you mean? every player has different size zone. So If Im playing as Phillies and I put Segura strike zone at pitchers cap, all the rest of my hitters zones are way above the cap? the same goes for pitchers height. if you put strike zone at starting pitchers cap, when the bring in reliever who is either taller or shorter, the zone is not at his cap anymore. Can you explain how you do it. I want to try it it but not sure how

@ees10 You're right some may be taller some shorter just choose an average pitcher. There's not much different but in real life the perspective will change with different pitchers.

It's more about watching that area of where the ball is being released by the pitcher, not necessarily top of the strike zone per say. Once you get used to watching the release point "area", then you should start being able to tell right away where the ball will likely end up after it's thrown.

Over the course of a season I tend to change my settings and camera views to keep the game fresh.

As it stands now for hitting camera I use Offset, Catcher High and Wide.

Yep. If you get really good at it most of the times you can tell exactly where the pitch will end up by the release point of the pitcher's hand. Makes it much easier to lay off pitches that are clear balls and sometimes I can even lay off those close pitches. Rarely do I find myself swinging at junk I can't hit. As a result I draw fair number of walks.

IMO, use whatever makes you happy, BUT with any view other than fish eye I believe the pitch speed sliders should be increased to 7.

For you, maybe. But the ideal pitch speed is going to be completely different for everyone, as it depends on so many factors. What difficulty are you on? How much input lag does your display have? How good are your personal reaction times (if you're in your lasted 20s or later, they likely aren't as good as they used to be). How did you sleep the night before. Etc. There are people who absolutely need the pitch speed maxed out on the higher difficulties. Then there are people who need more time to react. And that can change day to day even. There is no "one size fits all" or even "most" with pitch speed regardless of camera.

Naybe I should have said it this way
The ball comes in way faster on fish eye view than any other view
Keep that in mind when choosing a different view
Pitch speeds changes (away from default) would likely be necessary.

I switch between strike zone 2 and 3. Some pitchers I can play well with strike zone 2 and others 3. So just depends who I’m playing against.
