Stadiums too dark with roof closed?
In playing through my Franchise I've played games at Miami and Seattle. I noticed when the roofs are closed the stadium appears very dark. The field looks fine but the outfield seating areas almost can't be seen. This is the first Show game I've played in a couple years so I'm not sure if this is a common issue or not.Tags: None -

I've noticed this with Seattle for sure. Extremely dark for a night game with the roof closed. Really takes away from the experience when you can't see the outfield stands because of it being dark.Atlanta Braves

I should have mentioned I'm playing on Xbox Series X if that makes any difference.Comment

If you want to see what the lighting in this game should actually look like, try uploading some full 4K HDR footage of a night game to YouTube and watch it on your phone. Speaking for myself I was blown away at the difference. My tv really does suck. If you’re not enjoying the lighting in this game I’d 100% blame your display.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Re: Stadiums too dark with roof closed?
The Show has had this problem for years in addition to its problem understanding North American weather. It drives us mental in Canada that they have had -- FOR YEARS -- people wearing cold weather clothes in Toronto and 15 degrees (60F) in May with the Dome open or closed. It's ridiculous. But the lighting thing is bizarre. I think they've tried to make it look like an exposure thing but it doesn't work. Some stadiums are ridiculously dark with closed roofs in the game.Comment

I'm struggling with lighting overall, but I've noticed improvement with closed roofs (Houston, Arizona)
TMobile is rough though, can't argue with that. You want free speech?

I feel the lighting is generally too dark. Overcast conditions make it look as though you’re in the middle of a lunar eclipse, you really shouldn’t lose that much lighting if it’s overcast unless heavy rain is coming.
Always baffles me how devs (not just SDS) can get this wrong, it’s almost as though they’ve never been outside before.Comment

I'm glad I can see to hit in Rogers Centre. For a few years there it was absolutely impossible because how overpowered the lighting was in the stadium, especially those scoreboards on the OF wall.Atlanta Braves
