    3 batter rule

I thought the game implemented the 3 batter rule?
I just had two seperate innings where the cpu changed pitchers after only 2 batters. It was in spring training if that matters.
Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
    CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

Did the inning end in those situations? It's either til end of inning or 3 batters.

      Re: 3 batter rule

Start of the 7th inning and start of 9th inning.
7th- pitcher comes in, batter, batter, changed pitcher
9th- pitcher comes, faces hitter 1, faces hitter 2, they change pitchers.

3 batter rule isn't in effect in those scenarios that you described.

I'm not sure we have enough info to say it shouldn't apply in those situations.

If it was a new pitcher for each of those innings it absolutely would apply.

If in each instance it was the same pitcher to start the inning that was in from the previous inning then it's correct to say it wouldn't apply.

Ok, to clear things up hopefully lol.

7th inning starts. Rangers bring in Relief pitcher A (0 pitches). Faces batter #1 (gets a double). Faces batter #2 (2 run HR). Rangers bring in pitcher B.

8th inning Rangers bring in relief pitcher C (0 pitches) plays out inning.

Start of 9th inning. Rangers start inning with relief pitch D (0 pitches). Batter A hits triple, Batter B hits RBI single. Rangers bring in pitcher E.

This is in spring training, so I dont know if that makes a difference.

It’s quite possible it’s because of spring training, I know they have some rules in regards to pitching that are different than the regular season

That's the only thing that makes sense cause I've attempted to change pitchers at the start of a game (cause I selected the wrong pitcher) and it wouldn't let me until I faced 3 batters.

Yeah it is probably spring training because their is no 8 min pitchers you can keep too in the BP (13 pitchers in total)
