What factors influence dynamic difficulty scale?

For those who use dynamic difficulty:

    1. Do you know what factors influence the bar going up and down? Is it just hits or is it deeper then that?

I hope it takes into account more factors like exit velocity, timing, etc. because as we all know, sometimes you get everything right and the ball goes right to the fielder’s glove.

    2. When the bar is close to leveling up, is that a higher tier of that current level?

IE - HOF+ bar is almost full and close to legend, is the skill level higher/harder then went it’s empty and about to decrease to regular HOF? Or is it when you’re at that level, it’s all HOF+ regardless of where the bar is at.

I use dynamic and I believe it moves based on Total Bases. Home runs will make it jump more. Unfortunately, I don’t think strikeouts make it move more than a line drive out.

And it is the same difficulty don’t matter how high or low the bar is. That is just telling us how close we are to moving up or down.

In years past I thought I read it was OBP.

It still is. That's why extra base hits make it jump more than just singles or other ways of reaching first base.

I wish we had a way to influence how fast it fills up or have the ability to freeze it.

HoF and HoF+ is my sweet spot this year for batting but there’s been too many times where I will be in a slump and still have the difficulty increase to Legend. I would have to go back and look up the specific numbers but I think I went 4-20 and had it increase on me

              You can, it’s a slider.

Once you ae where you want to be, knock the slider for dynamic back to 0, then it won't move your difficulty.

I wish you could make it go between certain levels. Like my hitting I’m between Allstar and Allstar+. But I don’t want it to go to HOF or lowered to veteran. But I guess that makes the dynamic not make sense.

Speaking of dynamic difficulty sliders, I wish there was two; one for batting and one for pitching.

Anyone else using dynamic difficulty in RTTS? Mine seems to be stuck at HOF+ even though I suck at this level. Batting <.200 and the progress meter never drops. It only increases slowly as I get hits. Didn’t have this problem when playing MTO mode before this. Submitted a bug report.
