    MTO Wishlist

I've been playing MTO ever since this year's game came out and I'm pretty hooked on it. Esp with the multiple years you can do and the way you do free agency is down right fun.

Got me thinking after playing this non stop, what are some of your wish lists for MTO?

I think this mode is in the right direction but does need some things added to make it my go to mode in the future.

    1) The ability to manage your roster a bit more. I know right now you can set line-ups and rotation but I want to be able to call up whoever I want and send down who I want, whenever I want.

    2) Draft Players

    3) Hire/Fire Managers/coaches

    4) Show season ending awards and who made the All Star team, following year during a pre game ceremony where your player holds up that award.

    5) When you sign a top free agent, I love how you don't know until its revealed. Makes it really fun, what I would like to see is the free agent sitting at the press conference and revealing who he signed with by holding up the jersey and putting on the hat.

    6) Sign more than the top 100 free agents

    7) Make MTO never ending, play as many seasons as you like

    What are yours?

    Are you liking the mode?

I want to be able to override player lock games and play like normal
I'd also like to be able to choose to play all 162+ games (or any number of games, really) if I so choose

      Two words: custom rosters!

The fact that we’re in year four of this mode and we still can’t use custom rosters is disappointing to put it nicely. Makes the mode a non-starter for me and I’m sure a few others, too.

Not have it play like online competitive mode.

          Re: MTO Wishlist

I gave MTO a shot when the game first came out but the lack of customization made me quickly move on into franchise mode.

I like the roster management aspect and want to do a rebuild that I can play but at the same time, not take the whole game cycle to do so.

MTO seems to be the answer to that. I love the idea of moving your team into franchise mode and I believe many of the aspect they're integrating into MTO, will be staples in franchise in the years to come (Free Agency, momentum swings, etc).

All this said, what I would like to see is the customization aspect improved upon. If I want to play a game, I can. If I want to change sliders, I can.

I do believe that's what they're planning on doing. To take the cool roster management aspects that are currently exclusive to MTO and incorporate that into franchise with a wider range of customization.

Isn’t that just franchise then? At it’s core, MTO is merely window dressing for critical situations in Franchise. And I say that as a huge MTO fan.

it would be if you had more institutional control over your team in M20
but w/o being a true GM in M20, franchise and M20 would still significantly differ
