    Aaron Hicks

Has anyone else using the Yankees noticed that Aaron Hicks gets plunked A LOT? Seems like he gets hit at least once a game. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or what. But I’ve never seen anyone get hit this much in the game. If he’s up with the bases loaded it’s almost a guarantee that he’ll get hit to walk in a run. It was kind of funny at first but now it’s just getting annoying. My last 3 games he’s got hit once in two, and 3 times in the other one.

Its happening with everyone. My Guardians franchise, Ramirez and Reyes have been HBP at least 4 times each already in April. JRam got hit twice in the head in one game. I was shocked to not see a injury.
Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
    CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

Yeah I don’t think Aaron Hicks has anything to do with it, HBPs are just way up.

Honestly the uptick in HBP and 4 & 5 pitch walks is extremely welcome. Can finally get a reasonable OBP with most guys.
      Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

I love the walks. Wish they’d tone down HBP though.

the CPU at least hits 1 player per game I have noticed it is like the AI has built it for them to at least do it once in a game. it actually helped me come back from a 3-0 game to win with 2 outs 1 strike away from being out of the 8th the CPU decides to plunk someone then a walk. then Soto hits a sac fly and Cruz hits a 2 run homer and I win in the 9th with a walk off homer against the mets... in real life the fans would have throw bottles and Joely head who blew that game after Bassitt went 7 shutout innings. (had left a runner on when Joely came in to completely choke the game) CPU dumb BP management too kept him in the game in the 9th innings after blowing the 3-0 lead in real life would never have happened.

I can see why somtimes people think their is a comeback code when the AI does wacky things out of left filed (no pun intended) I have noticed too if you plunk the CPU as a revenge they always plunk one of your players later on in the game.

I was tied 1-1 in the 8th with the bases loaded and 2 outs. Hicks gets plunked to walk in the go ahead run. I held on and won the game 2-1. Felt like a really cheap win to be honest.

                  Re: Aaron Hicks

Funny, I've finally got around to starting a franchise with the Rangers with the latest patch, I've played my first two games and there was nobody got plunked. The walked at my normal rate of 3/4 times per game. I'm playing with Armour's sliders if that makes any difference. I've also had two extremely different games too. First game I beat the Yankees 9-0 and then the next game I lost 4-3. The second game was so frustrating because I had baserunners all game but couldn't get the big hit to win the game. I had 3 fly balls get caught at the warning track and twice with 1 out and a runner at 3rd I lined out on the infield. The first time it happened actually turned into a double play cause Rizzo caught the ball and tagged the runner before he could get back to 1st. Oh well, that's the way it goes sometimes.

I find that Rizzo gets hit a ton in my game (as he does IRL).
