No as power swing only will likely cause your contact to drop further thus in turn causing power numbers to drop

Normal Swing should be your swing most of the time. I might use Power Swing if I'm ahead in the count (or I'll sit on a spot first pitch if my hitter has the first pitch hitter quirk. And then contact swing with 2 strikes or sometimes if there's like a runner on 3rd with less than 2 out.

Idk if they even changed it but last year using a contact swing wasn't dropping your power enough to compensate so there were no downsides to using it.

Well when every player has 105 contact and 120 power I'm sure contact swing will produce homeruns still online. People don't think about that. Play with a normal team and try to hit homeruns with contact swing then complain if you do.

I've hit a handful of HR's in 22 with contact swing in franchise mode.

I can believe it. I have power slider at 3 and hit a realistic amount using normal swing only. Power at 5 I can definitely see contact swing producing homeruns. SDS seems to think every game needs 3-5 homeruns lol

I have been missing early on everything and for the life of me can't stay back. I upped the speed on the fastball and off speed pitches one notch.It's either that or up your timing slider. I am trying to not mess with sliders too much and just trust the process. We will see if that helps. Good luck.
