I have a feeling this is more due to a new commentary team and lack of variety in the calls. I almost hate bringing Seranthony Dominguez into a game because of the way Boog says his name.

Oh yeah no doubt it is due to a total rebuild. It is just a painful transition once the new paint wears off.

A great foundation has been put in place though. Lot’s to like with the limited they did.....but hard to play a 162 game season hearing the same exact lines over and over and over. Folks who play one sim 5 or sim a lot.....it is a non issue. Those of us who play every pitch.....it get’s cringe inducing unfortunately.

But I don’t want to minimize the undertaking of replacing 15 years worth of lines, names, stories, HR call’s etc etc etc etc. It is a daunting rebuild and the band-aid was ripped off on 22 to truly start over.

No mention of injury fix. With 30 team control and injuries on auto, the cpu won't dl a player. They just bench them. Guy could be 1-2 months injured and they just leave him on the bench.

Only played one game last night. It looks like it is fixed. KC had a injury during the game. After I went and looked, and they DL'd the guy and called up another.

Man idk, I play every game like u and even after 50 games I still prefer Boog and Chris over Matty V……… the repetitive lines aren’t that much more frequent considering they had over a decade to build lines with Vasgersian lol

The broadcast cam issue in created and retro stadiums that patch 7 caused is still an issue after patch 8.

Looks like the fix for the Rockies was that the City Connect uniform had too many sleeve patches. Looks to be fixed now.

I tend to agree with you. I have found, that during my work day (work from home ) i will put on a game of CPU vs CPU from my franchise, just so i can hear different stories. As i don't play in each park with the Sox.

This has helped.

I agree. Had to shut mine off. Every game in Cleveland they talk about the all star game in 2019.

Very repetitive...

Truthfully playing a game in 20 with the commentary on was refreshing. Didn't think I would say that.

I agree. This years commentary team gets on my nerves way more than the old team did. They say the exact same thing every game when they check out the lineup. Don’t even get me started on the story Chris tells about some guy giving him two suits after his first game at Yankee Stadium. I hear it every single home game it feels like. Plus the way Boog shouts players names the exact same way every time they come to bat. Oh, and then having to hear about how everyone that doesn’t wear batting gloves is a throwback. I was excited for the new team at first, but now I just wish we had the old guys back.

Sony missed a Golden opportunity to have multiple commentary teams in the game. Could have kept the MLB Network Package and that could have been set with Matty V. and company.
