How do you reset Dynamic Difficulty?

Is it possible, or do you need to create a new profile?

I’ve had this issue and I figured out a work around because if you’ve missed the intro tutorial, you don’t seem to get it back regardless of creating a new profile.

Here’s the method that reset dynamic difficulty:

    1. Go to your ps4 settings then account management and sign out. This makes mlb the show think you’re a new user.
    2. Launch mlb and you’ll be prompted to do the tutorial thing again as if you launched game for first time
    3. End of tutorial it ask what level. Choose level and then the dynamic difficulty choice pops up, hit yes.
    4. Make other preferred setting changes (camera, pitching inference whatever) and save profile.
    5. You can play as is I think but I closed the game, went to setting then account management and signed back in. I either did that or I just kept the mlb game open and logged in via account management. If one doesn’t work, try the other method.

The game should keep the new profile setting. What I then did is created like 5 profiles from that new one that has the DD set correctly. That way you don’t have to do this again.

Let me know if this works.

Quick hack: just jack the sliders. It took me like one inning to get to AS+ with timing, power & contact at 10 for example. Hit like four bombs and five doubles and boom you’re there, lock it in.
      Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

Oh don’t feel bad man. Actually I’ve copied and paste that a few times. I found this approach to work after dealing with the same issue.

There really should be easier way but since there isn’t, give this a go.
