Mlb 22 Hit variety

Would be a cool idea to have a thread like The Little Things every year with

all the different hits that are rarely seen,. Im 120 games in this year and

still see new types of hits from bloopers to this unreal hit.

What do you mean? You think the ball bounces weird when it hits grass in the game? Ya it was a crazy triple, i love how still see new hits.

the last 8 or 9 years, the Studio has made tremendous strides in the ball physics dept.
I wonder if they feel like they've pushed it as far as they can go, not just with the ps4 but even with the next gen also too as well, or if they still have more they want to accomplish w/ball physics

The crazy high bounces over the walls for ground rule doubles. There are so many of them. Not just talking low walls either. Just one hop over the fence. Just looks unnatural after hitting grass.

Ahh, gotcha. Ya i have to agree with you there. 90% of the time you can guess correctly if it will bounce over for ground rule double. Not a fan of it either.

Im hoping next year that we get some new amazing looking dirt and grass. That would cure all of my complaints for most part. That and fix baserunning

if I can dink one off a pitchers noggin, it should let me take out a say, Brycer Harper in the outfield, give him a good dirt nap at the warning track after a good can of corn off his thick skull

ball hit Canseco in the head, bounced over the wall for a homer. I always thought maybe that rule should be a groundrule double. just an opinion
back to Canseco, ball hit him so hard, it wound up costing him TJ surgery, (also my opinion)
in a round about way. 3 days after he was hit in the head, he asked to pitch in a blowout loss during the 8th inning. (I think the hit in the head rattled something lose up there)
anyways, Canseco hurt his arm pitching in that game 3 days after the headbonk, he only played in 15 games after pitching before being shutdown for the season. the headbonk homer happened in May '93 and he only played around 60 games that season, the fewest games he played in a season

Yes, I probably should have kept the replay in there too to show it better. But that vid should be in 4K fyi, maybe you just watched it before the upload finished idk. It’s not that great of a vid anyway lol.
