I think the stories would be okay if they were a little more current. They probably will never did what Madden did few years ago and have them come in every so many months, but at least give us some stories from the 2021 season, Milestones that year or something.

Playing as Baltimore....I don't want to hear anything more about crabcakes or Chris Singleton's stint with the O's.... (I imagine a ChiSox franchise with the story about Singelton's cycle would be in the same vein of frustrating).

Those stories are cool once....like maybe as a visiting team....but if you pick certain teams, oh boy....

(reminds me of the "Judge Chambers" thing they used to do in Yankee stadium in past iterations)

I wonder if you rebrand the team, even keeping the same name it will stop with the team specific stories?

I just can’t believe we went through 3 years of lines and setting this up in the first 3 months of the release. Didn’t they say they had like thousands of lines?

The conversations are cool at first but yeah they need at least 10-15 different stories for each team/stadium. And one gets triggered each game. So you cycle through them and don’t hear the same story for a while.

This line drives me the craziest.

Good control, only one walk and we all know he’s not a strikeout pitcher.

He does that for my pitcher who is leading the league in strikeouts and might have several that game. Lol

Does this trigger for everybody who doesn’t have a 80+ K/9 rating or something? Because that’s what it seems like.

Now imagine if this commentary was set up so he just gave the guy’s k/9 stat and maybe something about whether his k/9 stat is good, bad or average, instead of this annoying, often non-applicable, repetitive tripe.

Or please-go back to the 2 sliders so you could keep the play by play announcer and turn off the commentary...it gets really annoying after a few games with the same stupid remarks over and over.
