Best Prospect You’ve Ever Drafted

Meet Clayton Denson, the best prospect I’ve ever drafted.

-Draft Year - 2022
-Age at draft - 18
-Drafted overall - 72 OVR
-Position - 1B
-Potential - 99

Backstory:

I’m in year 2026 with my Cubs franchise (I play every 6th game so about 30-35 year with playoffs).

During the 2022 draft, I had the 7th pick and took this local (Illinois) kid named Clayton Denson. He was 18, 72 OVR with 99 potential. 2023 he was the #1 ranked prospect and tore up both AA and AAA. He has only excelled more at the MLB level 4 years later, including a +16 increase (yes 16!) in Contact - L this year.

He would have been a .300/25-30HR guy if he didn't get hurt for 2 months and he's only 21. I’m intrigued to see what kind of player he becomes.

Needless to say, this is the best prospect I've ever drafted.
