I miss seeing the award presentation in RttS during the first home game of the season. That was a pretty cool touch. I don't even remember the last game it was in.

Being able to play a Play Now game as MOM. I miss that.

I really miss the score-by-inning graphic that used to play before the bottom of the 8th during that RF-panning shot.

Them taking that kind of stuff out makes me irrationally angry.
          Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

I never realized that is gone. There was also a static foul ball viewpoint for balls that were close (similar to the no doubt HR camera). I wish this was still in the game because it’s awkward when the camera doesn’t follow the ball and yet the announcers are excitedly calling it close to fair. Plus would like to see that almost bomb

Being able to VETO pending CPU Trades. That disappeared after MLB 16 I believe.

The gameplay is much easier than the PS3 games for sure. A lot of the little details on the field presentation are no longer around. It catered to be a much faster experience.

The removal of the in-game overlays like this, the upcoming schedule, fastest pitch, pitcher comparison, etc. really upset me

Let me see if I get this correctly(I stopped at 21).It used to be when the ball was hit to 3rd base or SS the camera would auto switch to show the play at first base. Then (either 20 or 21) the game made you push the L2 to accomplish the same thing. And they took that out?So you no longer see the play at first base(without replaying it?)

Completely agree. Little things like the upcoming schedule really had a way of making you feel like your franchise was "alive," in other words there was a future.

Off the top of my head, two little things I miss are the defensive alignment recap we used to get in the 2nd inning. Second, the interview with player of the game after each game.

I agree with both of these: the defensive alignment in 2nd inning was great and highlighted Gold Glove players. The upcoming schedule, fastest pitch, pitcher compare...all were really good. Meanwhile, I do like some of the improvements like the game preview where they highlight hot players and for the last game of series will recap scores.

I recall seeing guys occasionally blow snot-rockets between pitches. Haven't seen that in years and just assumed it was removed.

Also, when did the beach ball get removed? Haven't seen that in years either.

Lastly, I swear that you used to be able to let "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" play in its entirety after the top of the 7th. Now it cuts out after a few seconds. I distinctly remember this because with SOTS I used to play "Louie, Louie" for the Mariners after and for the Red Sox I always had "Sweet Caroline" play.

Added a huge amount of realism to the game.
